Keep your nose warm this winter in Shreveport!

Some researchers finally figured out why we get sick in the winter… They exposed people to 40° air for 15 minutes and found that half of our immune cells in our noses die off in the first nine minutes. HALF!

Turns out our noses are the main entry point for viruses and cold air affects our immune cells! That means when the cold air gets in your immunity drops. So researchers say the best thing you can do when you’re checking out the Christmas lights in Shreveport this year, is to keep your nose warm! Better buy a new scarf….
