I kept hearing about all these people that were finding 1 Karat, 2.5 Karat, and even 4 plus Karat Diamonds at this state park in Arkansas… and I thought why not me?! I never find treasure… Maybe this is my time! So, my wife, my daughter and I packed up the car and headed to the Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas! The only Diamond mine in the world that has a “Finders Keepers” Rule… Whatever you find, you get to keep!

Since we had no idea what we were doing we spent a lot of time learning and just staring at the ground looking for shiny stuff… and Guess What?!

We found some shiny stuff!!

But no diamonds…. Sad face.

But now that we know what it’s all about, we will be ready next time! We’re gonna rent some equipment and head back up to strike it rich! Watch out diamond world! Mason’s comin’ for ya!
