There is a new country music lifestyle experience network coming to television that will be called Circle. It is owned by the Opry Entertainment Group and Gray Television. The network will feature original programming centered around country artists and their lives on and off the stage. The lineup on the channel includes the return of a weekly broadcast of the Grand Ole Opry, the show that helped make country music what it is today.
It will also include entertainment news, documentaries and movies, along with licensed programming and archival content.
Drew Reifenberger, the general manager of Circle Media, says, “Circle is about fun, discovery, and accessibility for country music fans. Circle will align fans and artists by creating intimate experiences and camaraderie of a close-knit circle of friends.”
