Shreveport Gets Clean This WKND

Shreveport Green and the City of Shreveport team up with you this weekend to help keep our city clean.  Individuals or groups that want to help in the citywide clean-up effort should got to Shreveport Green, located at 3625 Southern Avenue, and pick up supplies between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 22nd and Friday, August 23rd.  Volunteers will then clean up on Saturday, August 24th starting at 8:00 a.m. and gather at 11:00 a.m. at the State Fairgrounds near the baseball stadium for prizes, food, fun, and music.  Go to Shreveportgreen.com for all the details.
