Around 10:45 this morning Wendy’s on Old Minden in Bossier City was robbed at gunpoint. Police say employees told detectives that a Black male entered the building from a back door and produced a handgun. The man was able to get an undetermined amount of money and fled from the restaurant on foot. 

Nearby Rusheon Middle School was currently on lockdown for safety purposes after the robbery.

BCPD is searching the area for the suspect.
