Got a feeling we’re all going to be swapping quarantine stories once we start hanging out together again. MATTHEW RAMSEY of OLD DOMINION already shared his. It was the time he forgot he was famous.
Quote, “I was taking a walk [about] eight months into the lockdown [and] this car does a U-turn and pulls up to me and she’s like, ‘what are you doing?’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean? What am I doing?’
“And she’s like ‘you’re just out here taking a walk.’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah’ . . . and I just completely forgot that I was maybe a recognizable person. It just hadn’t happened in a really long time.”
While we’re on the subject: Old Dominion is doing a “Live From the Ballpark” concert tour. There are seven shows in historic baseball parks, beginning July 17th in Jackson, Tennessee, with additional shows in August, September, and October.
Scotty McCreery, Randy Houser, Matt Stell, Blanco Brown, Caitlyn Smith, and Walker County will open select shows.
(This is separate from Old Dominion’s “Band Behind the Curtain” tour.)
