I got my first apartment in 2001, and a few weeks after moving I went to a pet adoption event and saw kittens jumping up and down and a little baby runt kitten in the corner… she stood up and walked over to me and sat right in front of me, and I took her home 2 days later. Phoebe has moved all over the country, been through every relationship and breakup with me- and even though we had a health scare last year, has remained healthy and far outlived her lifespan. Phoebe turns 20 tomorrow. She doesn’t get around as good as she use to, but, she still has crazy attitude and I know has a few more adventures left in her
