SWEPCO crews are at Huntington High School this morning working as fast as possible (but far too fast for the sleeping students) to restore power. Caddo Parish Public Schools spokesperson, Mary Nash-Wood, tells us that while SWEPCO works on the issue, classes will be cancelled for today (Monday). The kids will have their Thanksgiving break extended by a day, and all other Caddo Public School kids hate them and envy them equally.
We will keep you updated on this story as it develops and as to whether it will affect school at Huntington for the rest of the week.
